Makes a 9”x 13” dish
Crust:
4 c. Oats
1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1 c. Coconut (optional)
½ c. Chopped Almonds
1 t. Vanilla
1 c. Apple Juice
Mix dry ingredients. Add apple juice and stir. Press half of crust into bottom of sprayed 9”x 13”.
Filling:
6-7 Large Apples
12 oz. Can Apple Juice Concentrate
¼ c. Cornstarch
½ t. Coriander & Cardamom (or Cinnamon)
½ c. Water
Peel, core, and slice apples. Thicken remainder of ingredients on stove. Add apples and fold in gently. Pour into crust and put rest of crust on top. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.
