COOKIES
1 cup butter, softened
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup crush peppermint candy
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
¼ cup cornstarch
FROSTING
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1-2 Tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp crushed peppermint candy
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, crushed candy, and vanilla thoroughly using a mixer. Gradually blend in flour and cornstarch. Form into 1 in balls and place on baking sheets. Gently press down each cookie to flatten using fingers or a flat-bottomed drinking glass (dipped in sugar to prevent sticking). Bake at 300 for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
Combine confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix until frosting is smooth. Drizzle cookies with frosting and sprinkle with crushed candy.
