½ cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
1 ½ cups flour
½ cup milk
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, salt, & vanilla until smooth
Add eggs-one at a time and beat well
Sift in flour cocoa and add with milk—blend
Add nuts if desired
Bake in 9X13 pan for 1 hour at 300 degrees
Frost with chocolate icing and cut into squares
